Parliamentary Briefing – Raising Scotland’s Climate Ambition (Oct 2017)

The statement on progress against our greenhouse gas targets, given by Scottish Government’s climate minister Roseanna Cunningham on 31 October 2017, is the Scottish Parliament’s last chance to discuss climate change ahead of the critical UN Climate Change Conference in Bonn from 6-17 November.

Our briefing to MSPs ahead of the ministerial statement called on the Scottish Government to send a strong, positive message to the negotiators in Bonn by committing to ambitious targets in the upcoming Climate Change Bill.
