Response to UK Ministry of Justice consultation on cost protection for litigants in environmental cases

Joint Friends of the Earth Scotland and Environmental Law Centre Scotland response to the Ministry of Justice consultation on cost protection for litigants in environmental cases as part of our Access to Environmental Justice Campaign. Cost is perhaps the biggest barrier in taking environmental cases to court, and it is considerably more expensive and difficult to take a case in Scotland than England and Wales.
