What should a just transition for fossil fuel workers look like?

Online event by Just Transition Partnership
nstead of real progress on just transition, so far in Scotland we have had just empty words from government, not backed up by results. Redundancies in fossil fuel sectors have not been met with the creation of clear pathways into new jobs in renewable energy.

We will hear about the frustration rising among workers and communities most affected and the outlines of what a just transition should feel like for the workforce will be presented. View Event

Scotland’s Climate March

Assembling at Glasgow Green
As the UN climate summit takes place in Brazil, at home we are seeing more extreme weather driven by climate change as communities are hit with floods, fires and droughts.

Heading into winter many of us are faced with unpayable heating bills, while energy companies make obscene profits. Loud voices are trying to blame the most vulnerable in our society, rather than the politicians and big business that are choosing profit over people.

Join us to march for a fairer future for all!
