2040 climate newspapers

We created a newspaper from 2040 portraying two different versions of Scotland’s climate future.

One side features positive news resulting from Scotland’s climate leadership, whereas the other will tell stories of the negative impacts of the unfolding climate chaos.

They illustrate the choice in front of the Scottish Government about whether to increase ambition in the crucial next decade before 2030, or to continue along the ‘business as usual’ path of weak targets.

They were distributed at the SNP Autumn Conference in October 2018 on the day the UN launched their “Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5C .”
