Raise money. Build power.
Raising money is one way people across Scotland are building power for climate justice.
It keeps the movement strong and independent – funding bold actions, grassroots organising, and pressure where it’s needed most, without relying on government or corporate money.
There’s no one way to do it. You might:
- bring people together for a walk or community meal
- take on a sponsored challenge, like a run, cycle or swim
- ask for donations instead of birthday or wedding gifts
How to send in the money you’ve raised
Once your fundraising’s wrapped up, take a moment to feel proud – you’ve done something brilliant. You brought people together, got others involved, and took action for climate justice. That really matters.
When you’re ready to send the money in, you can do it online, by phone, or by post, whatever works best for you.
Just include a quick note with how you raised the money and you name and contact details so we can say thanks properly.
Pay online
This is the easiest way:
Pay by phone
Call us on 0131 242 2700 (Monday – Friday 10am-4pm) and we’ll take your payment over the phone.
Send a cheque
If you’d prefer to send us a cheque, please just make it out to ‘Friends of the Earth Scotland’, and post it to our office: Thorn House, 5 Rose Street, Edinburgh, EH2 2PR
If you’re a business, would like a copy of a high-resolution logo or have any questions about your fundraising, please contact our friendly team at info@foe.scot. Remember to get in touch and let us know what you’re doing – we’re looking forward to hearing from you!
