About us
We’re campaigning for a world where everyone can enjoy a healthy environment and a fair share of the Earth’s resources. Climate change is the greatest threat to this aim, that’s why we’re calling for a just transition to a 100% renewable, nuclear-free, zero-fossil-fuel Scotland.
We are a team of 20 staff and a network of thousands of supporters and active local groups. We are part of Friends of the Earth International – the largest grassroots environmental network in the world uniting 73 member groups and millions of supporters.
We are a membership organisation and our members are key to our success.
With the support of thousands of people like you, we’ve secured safer food and water, defended wildlife and natural habitats, defeated coal-fired power stations, delivered a world-leading Climate Act for Scotland and mobilised hundreds of thousands of people in support of action on the climate.
