Create a fundraising page using one of the platforms below. Donations are collected securely and paid directly to our charity.
JustGiving
Use for: challenge events, in memory pages, personal fundraising pages
How to set up
Go to the Friends of the Earth Scotland JustGiving page
Select Fundraise for us
Choose your fundraising type such as event, personal challenge or celebration
Create an account or log in
Personalise your page and publish
Gift Aid is added automatically where eligible.
Facebook Fundraising
Use for: birthday fundraisers and social fundraising
How to set up
Go to Fundraisers on Facebook
Select Raise money for a charity
Search for our charity name and select it
Set your target and end date
Publish and share
Donations are processed by Meta and paid directly to us.
Tiltify (for livestream and gaming fundraising)
Use for: livestream events on Twitch, YouTube, TikTok and other platforms
How to set up
Visit https://start.tiltify.com/ and log in or create an account
Select Create a campaign
Search for our charity and select it
Choose your format such as livestream, team event or on demand campaign
Set your campaign target and go live
Tiltify integrates with streaming platforms and shows live donation totals during your event.
Top tips for your fundraising page
Visibility
Add a short description explaining what you are doing and why you have chosen this cause
Upload a photo so your page is easy to recognise
Share your fundraising link on email, WhatsApp and social media
Donor engagement
Set a fundraising target to give supporters a clear goal
Post regular updates or milestones so people can follow your progress
Thank donors using the platform’s comments or update features
Maximising donations
Check Gift Aid is enabled, as this can add 25% to eligible donations
If you reach your target early, increase it to maintain momentum
